A new year has come and there is a total of 35 new teachers here at the school. Renee Isom is one of those new teachers. In the building she is known as Media Center librarian. But at night she’s at home like any other mom, spending time with her children.She graduated at both Indiana University (getting her undergraduate in education) and IUPUI (gaining her masters in Library Science).

Coming into our administration Isom says “that the change in staff and learning environment has helped me feel welcomed and be myself around everyone,” Isom said.

This school year, Ison wants to implement students with new strategies and help students prepare for the 21st century world and college.

“I want the Media Center to be an active resource for students,” Isom said.
