Dresses, red carpets, and bright lights students attending the 2016 Homecoming dance, Saturday Sept.,  will get to experience this years theme, movie night/red carpet. Student government members and class officers have been working on organizing the dance for weeks and are expecting a big crowd this year.

“There will be a larger group of people at the dance this year due to the large freshman class,” senior Anita Gopalrathnam said.

Tickets cost ten dollars and are being sold during all lunches on Thursday Sept. 15 and Friday Sept. 16. Students much purchase tickets during lunches, they will not be sold at the door to the dance. Students must also bring their tickets and student ID’s with them to the dance in order to get in.

“Homecoming is an opportunity for everyone to get all dressed up, have a fun night, and hang out with everyone outside of the learning environment,” senior Ashlyn Johnson said.
