Striving to connect with more students, the Guidance Department started a Twitter feed last August. Followers will be able to access information about college visits, scholarship opportunities and testing information, among other guidance news.Guidance counselor Lindsay Gross created the informal feed, which has generated 65 followers.
“I just thought we’d go where the students are, and the students are online,” Gross said. “If we got that information out to students and parents, it’d be beneficial.”
Gross is solely in charge of the feed, and several times a week. Follow the Guidance Department at @FishersGuidance on Twitter.
