Advanced Placement showcase night, an event for students to learn about AP classes. AP night is on January 23rd 2013 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium, and will feature a presentation talking about the benefits of taking AP courses.
” [AP classes] give [students] an opportunity to successfully earn college credit while they are in high school, which can benefit them when they get to college. It also gives them exposure to college level rigor and helps prepare them for taking these classes in college so they have the opportunity to be more successful,” Assistant Principal Piehl said.
After the presentation there will be a convention involving all the teachers who teach AP classes, they will be there to answer any remaining questions anyone might have.
There is no sign-up and both parents and students are welcome to attend.
