Future entrepreneurs can apply for the Launch FHS Fellowship Program (LFHSF).The fellowship begins on June 3 with a four-day bootcamp.

“The four-day bootcamp is a dive into all things business,” Director of LFHSF Marisa Pennington said. “Students will gain networking, communication skills, real-world experience and professionalism that can be used in any field.”

After the bootcamp, students will be given the chance to be interviewed on the Friday of boot camp week, June 7, to be placed with a host company for a paid summer internship. During the internship students will work in an office environment for 20-30 hours a week being paid $10 an hour. The variety of positions offered from host companies are in areas and industries in and around Fishers that will run from Tuesday June 11 until Friday Aug. 2.

“This program is a great opportunity for the students,” Assistant Principal Kyle Goodwin said. “I think anyone interested in entrepreneurship for business or just in general should check it out.”

Students interested in the LFHSF program can register at its official website. The deadline for the application period for the free week-long entrepreneurial bootcamp is midnight on May 3.
