Director Chad Kohler queuing senior Robert Lyon in the piece “Sailing with Whales.” “Given the fact that it was an outside amphitheater, the wind was blowing and we hadn’t had a bunch of time to warm up, it was a pretty impressive performance,” Lyon said. “I liked having one last hurrah with our competition music, and I felt like it went pretty well.” The spring band concert took place on Wednesday, May 18 at Nickleplate Amphitheater.
