The Tigers and the Eagles shake hands at the end of the conference on Feb. 15. Despite technical difficulties, the Fishers Sports Network streamed the game on Twitter.

The Fishers Tigers and Zionsville Eagles, battled it out for the number one spot in conference where the Eagles won 48-44.

Heading into the game, the Eagles were 6-0 in conference while the Tigers stood tall at 5-1. Both of these teams would play for one prize: being at the top of the HCC.

Eagles point guard Isaiah Thompson started the night on a bit of a cold streak. Thompson is a Purdue commit who averages twenty-four points per game.

For the Tigers, forward Luke Hernandez started off the game red hot going 3-3 from the 3-point line gaining 9 points for the Tigers.

Thompson is an elite, quick and agile player who has proven to be difficult to guard. Tigers senior Emmanuel Davis was assigned to play some air-tight defense on Thompson to try and prevent him from scoring as much as possible.

The first half was the Tigers game to play as they went into halftime winning against the Eagles.

In the second half, the Eagles came out of the gate hungry to bounce back in the game. The pick and roll game for the Eagles began to pick up and the cuts to the basket were being executed accurately.

Thompson finished the game with 23 points for the Eagles, bringing home the win to put them at 7-0 in conference. The Tigers fell short with a rough second half performance that put them 5-2 in conference.
