Holiday specials invite seasonal savings
Over the holidays in Fishers, there are multiple activities and fun things to do around the area with family. Deals are included at events such as Caring Santa at Castleton Square mall. An event like that is mostly for the small children but there are more activities that the entire family can enjoy.
“My family and I enjoy going to the Westfield in Lights event every year to see the pretty lights that go on.” Senior Teresa Stein said. “We get hot chocolate and watch the entire scene light up, I personally think it is a fun thing to do with the family.”
Westfield in Lights is an event that takes place on Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. Along with watching the lights, people can can take pictures with Santa, make gingerbread houses, and other fun festive acts they have set up. Entry to the event is free.
Top Golf has grown popular over the years. It is a destination store that draws people to the city because Topgolf is not common business, with only 46 locations throughout the country.
“Topgolf is definitely it’s busiest during the winter because of how many people come here to spend time with family,” junior Kerrigan Rush said. “Most people make reservations during the holidays because our party planning deals are best during this time of year.”
Overall, the number of things possible in Fishers are endless during the winter season. Whether it is taking your siblings or little ones to the mall to sit on Santa’s lap and take a picture, going to Westfield to see the sky glisten with all of the beautiful lights, or going to Topgolf to hit some balls down range with family.
