Sports continue at FHS despite pandemic

After the cancellation of all spring sports in the 2019-20 school year due to COVID-19, sporting events have returned to FHS in fall of the 2020-21 school year. Events have added restrictions because of the pandemic.

Parents and fans sit socially distanced to watch the soccer match against Marion High School, and masks were required for entry to the game. “Most people are wearing masks but I’ve seen some people wearing masks to get into the game and then taking them off once they sit down,” junior Parker Lowell said. Fishers beat Marion at a home game on Sept. 3 10-0. FHS record as of Sept. 18 is 7-4-1.
