After working in admissions at Ball State University, Lindsay Gross joins the faculty as a new guidance counselor.Gross is originally from Ft. Wayne, IN. She attended Indiana University for her undergraduate degree in human development and family before going to Butler University for her graduate degree. Gross worked as a counselor for a year and a half at Kankakee Valley High School near Valparaiso, IN before working at Ball State.
Deciding to go back into guidance work led Gross to find a job in the guidance office. But Gross also interned at FHS four years ago and enjoyed the experience so much that she wanted a job here. Already helping students for their year, Gross prepared her goals for her first year back as a counselor.
“My personal goal is to to the student and families and to be able to assist them the best that I can,” Gross said. “As a whole, I want to help increase the amount of students that utilize the guidance office throughout all four years they are here.”
