Joining a new school can be tough, but english teacher Haley Englert is handling it very well so far. She is currently teaching ninth and tenth grade English. Although this is Englerts first year teaching at the school, she has taught this subject maybe years before.
She graduated from Noblesville High School in 2004 and continued her studies at IU for another four years. Journalism teacher Kristine Brown is familiar with Englert, being a former student of hers.
“I really like the school spirit here at Fishers compared to previous high schools I have taught at, ” Englert said.
Getting to know her fellow staff and her students is a major goal for this year. She is excited for see how the rest of this school year turns out.
