Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a group in which student-athletes work to gain a connection with God. This group is a place for anyone, mostly athletes, to escape their hardships, from school and home, and find God in their faith.
The FCA usually has about 30 to 40 people that come a week, and they are always looking for more people. Athletes usually come because they are very busy, and this provides a time for them to worship and praise God.
These meetings are held in room D106 every Tuesday at 7 a.m. It normally starts off with game, and everyone gets donuts. Also, students will share stories and conclude everything with a prayer.
“The main goal is to provide a place for athletes to come and learn about God and implement it into their lives,” physical education teacher Lauren Vail said.
