Spirit week prepares school for homecoming Game and Dance

Ryan Ahler- As a lead up to the homecoming football game vs. Arsenal Tech on Sept. 29 and the homecoming dance the next night, the school has planned a series of activities for this week.

Each day during homecoming week has a dress-up theme. Monday is America day, Tuesday is Hawaii day, Wednesday is dress-up day, Thursday is Heroes and villains day and Friday is FHS spirit day.

“I think that the spirit days give students a chance to show that they have school spirit and feel connected to the school,” senior Matt Hart said.

Every class has decorated their hallway based off of a board game. The senior hallway is decorated like “Monopoly,” the junior hall way is decorated like “Jumanji,” the sophomore hallway is decorated like “Candyland,” and the freshman hallway is decorated like “Life.”
