Looking out and supporting Sharp from the stands was Junior Larkyn Muth, who looked back on the night and said, “The game was super fun, my choir got to sing the national anthem and one of my best friends won homecoming queen,” Muth said. “It was just an overall fun night!” The Homecoming football game was on Sept. 22.

Rebekah Hern- It was a close contest for the Pasta Bowl of 2014 between the first period classes of English teacher Ben Beasley and English teacher Renee Vanlandingham, with Vanlandingham emerging as the winner. They both had around 200 boxes of pasta. The winner between HSE and FHS has yet to be  announced.

“I’m glad that I beat Mr. Beasley,” Vanlandingham said.

All the pasta will go to the Hamilton County food pantry and other pantries in Hamilton County. This pantry is referred to as the “Come-To-Me” pantry. Anyone can make donations to the pantry, including personal care items. Donation times are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am through 4:30 pm. They are always encouraging donations and volunteers.

“I’m glad that I can help those people who are less fortunate in Fishers,” Vanlandingham said.

Everyone who participated in the Pasta Bowl is helping those who are less fortunate and need help during the winter months. Donates were distributed on Friday the 26th. Updates will follow when the winner is announced between the two schools.
