Pinterest club president Morgan Stevens meets with new members to welcome them to the club. Photo by Hallie Gallinat.

The club, sponsored by Spanish teacher Stephanie Gutting, meets once a month, after school in A102. Members gather craft ideas from Pinterest to create during meetings.

“Each meeting, we get together for an hour and a half and we make the craft. It’s very exciting,” Stephanie Gutting said.

Before each meeting, members receive a message describing which craft they will be making. This message is sent through Twitter, Remind and Pinterest. The members then gather materials they will need to work on their projects.

During the next meeting, Pinterest club will decorate their old, broken phone cords. They will be covering the chords with lace and yarn to make them functional again.

Pinterest Club is open to new members. If you have questions about the club, please contact Stephanie Gutting.
