On Friday, September 1 the Tigers defeated the Noblesville Millers making them 1-0 in conference.

Junior quarterback Jon Vore completed a  pass to senior tight end Isaiah Dunnuck to put up the first points of the game for the Tigers. The two-point conversion was incomplete. Back to back fumbles by both teams kept the score at 6-0 for the rest of the quarter. T

Vore found junior wide receiver Colin Statz for a touchdown which put the Tigers up 12-0. Dunnuck then scored yet another touchdown for the Tigers to make the score 19-0 for Fishers going into halftime.

To begin the third quarter senior linebacker Seth Sontich intercepted the ball from Noblesville. Sophomore Georffrey Brown carried the ball 6 yards for another Fishers touchdown. Senior kicker Ben Norton then completed the field goal to put Fishers up 29-0.

The Millers were not able to score against the Tigers during the game and the final score ended up being 29-0.

“This game against Noblesville really gave us the confidence we need for the rest of the season after the first two losses. Especially winning in conference, we now have a lot of momentum going into next week’s practices and games,” Dunnuck said.

Fishers will face HSE next on Friday, September 8 at home. For more information on the Fishers football team, visit the high school’s athletic website here.
