As a teen who is fairly involved, I do not always have time for dinner before I go to hang out with friends or attend sporting events. On the way home, though, it is always nice to grab a meal. The problem is what is open and where do I want to go?
It is difficult to find teen-friendly places to eat late at night. Adults can go to pubs, bars and more, but teens do not usually have that option. It is especially hard to find somewhere during weeknights past 9 PM.
International House of Pancakes (IHOP)
The first and most available food option on weeknights and weekends is IHOP. This restaurant is a strong option for a couple of reasons.
According to the official IHOP website, the restaurant is open 24 hours every day. This is great for teens who want to sit down or get food DoorDashed, but may not be the speediest option.
IHOP also has a variety of pricing. The franchise is currently offering $6 meals from 7 AM to 10 PM, according to USA Today. This deal is convenient for students who arrive before 10 PM looking for a hearty meal and a good way to combat the restaurant’s rising prices.
IHOP also has a variety of locations in Indiana, with 26 throughout the state. The Fishers location is right off Interstate 69, but it is rated 2.8 out of 5 stars on Yelp.
Taco Bell
A restaurant on the lower price and faster service side is Taco Bell. This restaurant is open from 9 AM to 4 AM at the Allisonville Road location every day. Each location varies when it is open, so it is important to check the company’s website.
Taco Bell is easy to find, as it has four locations in Fishers. It is great for late night snacks and meals every day of the week. The restaurant’s indoor dining and drive-through offer customers multiple routes to get their food, so if you have a curfew, Taco Bell is for you.
Culver’s
Another restaurant that is great for a late-night meal or snack is Culver’s. The Fishers location off Olio Road is open until 1 AM daily.
Culver’s has a couple of key amenities for late night stops. The first is the restaurant’s drive-through, which offers quick and easy service. Along with this, the restaurant has affordable meal options.
An online food review creator, Haley Hanson, found that out of the 32 kid’s meals she had tried, Culver’s was her no. 1. She revisited the restaurant in a video published in May of 2025 to go over why she loves their kid’s meal options.
Conclusion
Taco Bell, IHOP and Culver’s are fantastic restaurants for a late-night snack or meal. These options affordability, family friendliness and speed set the tone for other late-night spots.
