Natalie Lueung – LitMag is short for Literary Magazine. The Lit Mag club consists of a mixture of all classes. This club is a group of students working together to combine a magazine book full of literature accomplished by other students. Members meets every other Tuesday after school in the publications room, A218.
The magazine accepts poems, lyrics, short stories, proses, artwork and photos. Submissions started in early October and will end Feb 20. Anybody can submit their literature to [email protected], as long as it is school appropriate.
Members in the club go through a process of voting whether the submission should be in the magazine or not. After the magazine is done and made, every student who submitted their work will get a free copy of the magazine.
Anyone is welcome to join the club if interested. There are positions such as promotion, submission and design.
“It’s not too difficult, you just read the submissions and edit them, if you have experience with inDesign then you can help with design,” Lit Mag editor-in-chief Bailey Batman said.
